I really enjoyed the idea of making an image transform into a new form. So I experimented here and decided to create a storybook that’s able to transform itself into a duck. Quite fitting since this storybook is entitled “The Golden Egg” and is a fictitious story I am making about a golden egg that goes through many obstacles as an egg up until he’s finally able to hatches into to a duck. At which point he flies away from all the obstacles that he has had to deal with as an egg in an effort to start his own new adventure within the next stage of his life, as a duck.

 

As an art student one of the things that we learned about in Illustrator is how to use the envelope distortion tool. Our assignment was to use a quote from BrainyQuotes.com with an image then take that quote and use it within the image by using the envelope distortion tool. The idea that I had came up with was for an anti-bulling poster. I found a wonderful picture online and quote that I felt worked very well together.
